BAM bags £73m Spinningfields office tower
Developer Allied London has appointed BAM Construction to deliver its £73m design and build contract for No.1 Spinningfields in Manchester.
BAM Construction will start the 97-week build programme on the 24 storey office tower at the former Quay House site in June.
The flagship 260,000 sq ft office building will be constructed to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and completes the developer’s original masterplan.
It will boast a roof-top restaurant and garden terrace once finished and a podium that dramatically cantilevers over Quay Street and Byrom Street.
No.1 Spinningfields team
- Architects Simpson Haugh & Partners with technical detailing by Axis.
- Gardiner & Theobald: project manager and cost consultant
- Mott MacDonald: façade engineer.
