Area Sales Manager – Kitchen Sinks & Taps
Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Kitchens Sinks, Taps & Worktops
Industry Sector: Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, KBB, Kitchens, Kitchen Retailers, Kitchen Showrooms, Plumbers Merchants, Builders Merchants, Independent Wholesalers, Electrical Wholesale, Retailers and Distributors
Area to be covered: Northern Ireland
Remuneration: £40,000 + £28,000 bonus
Benefits: fully expensed company car & benefits packages
The role of the Area Sales Manager Kitchens Sinks, Taps & Worktops will involve:
• Field sales position selling a manufactured range of kitchen sinks, taps, worktops and accessories and new products such as appliances, hobs and lighting which have great growth prospects
• 70% of your time selling to kitchen retailers, 10% builders merchants, 10% wholesalers & the remaining 10% new business between all three routes to markets
• Inheriting a well-established area currently turning over £1,.9m
• Will be given circa 200 accounts to manage
• 25% promoting new products & 75% managing existing product portfolio
• Covering Northern Ireland only
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Kitchen Sinks, Taps & Worktops with:
• Must have sold to either merchants OR kitchen retailers & showrooms,
• Open on what products you’ve sold
• Contacts within kitchen retailers, kitchen showrooms or plumbers merchants & builders merchants is not required however advantageous
• Ideally have KBB product related experience such as: associated kitchen products, bedroom, bathroom, appliances and electrical products
• Proven field sales / territory management track record
• Excellent commercial skills, IT literate
• Flair for developing business relationships
• Excellent presentation skills
• Resilient hard working personality
