Location: North West Office
Remuneration: £30,000 – £40,000 (DOE)

The role of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Roofing will involve:
• Assistant Quantity Surveyor position supporting with the commercial aspects of various commercial roofing projects such as felt roofing, liquid roofing and pitched roofing
• Liaise with Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and clients
• Manage commercial and contractual aspects of relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Produce and maintain up to date procurement schedules
• Compile and issue invitations to tender, analyse subcontractor quotations and make recommendations for placement of orders
• Manage month end applications, invoicing & valuations within agreed timescales
• Identify variations occurrences including cost application approval
• Manage client contractual requirements within contract documents
• Attending site for internal/external meetings including site measures
• Working on projects ranging in value from £40k to circa £2m
The ideal applicant will be an Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Roofing with:
• Must have Quantity Surveying or Construction Management degree or similar
• Ideally familiar with various roofing projects, pitched roofing, flat roofing, liquid applied, hot melt, flat and pitched roofing, composite panel sheeting and cladding, oversheeting, roofing conversions, felt roofing, safe access systems, single ply, gutter refurbishment
• Ideally some experience working for a subcontractor
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• High levels of attention to detail
• Down to earth individual who’s ready to get stuck in
• Ability to multi-task and work accurately under pressure
• Full UK driving license
