Remuneration: £40,000 – £50,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Contracts Manager – Commercial Glazing Systems will involve:
- Contracts Manager position managing the design, fabrication and installation of a range of commercial glazing projects including: aluminium curtain walling, windows & doors
- Liaise with internal departments on a regular basis to ensure smooth running of projects
- Producing RAMS and health & safety documentation
- Ensure that installation is to specification and quality standard
- Ensure that materials, deliveries and installations are in line with the agreed programme
- Checking and authorising payments to subcontractors
- Attending pre and post tender meetings as and when required
- Carry out snagging and final sign off
- Managing projects ranging in value from £10,000 to circa £1,500,000
The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager – Commercial Glazing Systems experience with:
- Must have Project Manager/Contract Manager experience within the fenestration market sector
- Ideally will have a strong background dealing with architectural glazing, curtain walling, fire rated glazing, structural glazing, windows & doors
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Full UK driving license
- Must be IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness
