Remuneration: £25,000 – £35,000neg (DOE) + overtime

The role of the Service Engineer – Cranes will involve:
• Field Service Engineer position, dealing with the service and maintenance of self-erecting tower cranes
• Completing the safe installation and dismantle of Tower Cranes including Traditional Tower Cranes, Luffing Tower Cranes and Self Erecting Tower Cranes
• Carrying out scheduled maintenance and service on tower cranes
• Diagnose and repair faults on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Delivering exceptional customer service at all times
• Adhering to H&S practises
• Overnight stays will be required as part of the role (2-3 nights per week)
• Depending on experience the first couple of months will be shadowing a Senior Engineer
The ideal applicant will be a Service Engineer – Cranes with:
• Must have previous experience dealing with the service and maintenance of construction plant, machinery, cranes, agricultural equipment or similar
• Ideally will have experience dealing with Tower Cranes including Traditional Tower Cranes, Luffing Tower Cranes and Self Erecting Tower Cranes
• Ideally will have an engineering qualification
• Relevant CPCS qualifications such as: Slinger/Signaller A40, Working at Heights, Crane Supervisor A62, Appointed Person A61, Pedestrian Operated Crane License A63, Telehandler A17, MEUPs, Rescue at Height, however can be trained
• Ability to diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Full UK driving license
• Motivated, highly organised, team player
