Specification Sales Manager – Landscape Products
Job Title: Specification Sales Manager – Landscape Products
Industry Sector: Precast Concrete, Concrete, Heavyside Building Products, Landscaping Products, Landscape Architects, Specifications, Specifiers, Architects, Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects, Quantity Surveyors
Area to be covered: North East
Remuneration: £45,000neg + £16,000 bonus (paid quarterly)
Benefits: company car OR car allowance & full benefits packages
The role of the Specification Sales Manager – Concrete Products will involve:
• Field sales position selling a high end quality manufactured range of precast concrete / landscaping products such as: retaining walls, paving, facing brick, beams, blocks, flags, acoustic blocks and architectural masonry
• Dealing with typical applications such as: marinas, leisure centers, hospitals, schools, apartment blocks, nursing homes and offices
• All of your time will be spent generating specifications via architects, landscape architects, quantity surveyors, civil engineers, key specifiers and end users
• Targeted to achieve approximately £3m in the first year with the vision to grow this year on year
• Dealing with order values ranging from around £60k – £500k per project
• Utilizing the internal support network including: design teams, estimating and internal sales
• Required to conduct circa 10 CPD presentations per quarter
The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager – Concrete Products experience with:
• Must have sold building products
• Ideally heavyside building product such as: concrete blocks, acoustic blocks, landscaping products, facing brick, paving, retaining walls, aggregates, concrete products etc
• Ideally have experience generating specifications via architects, landscape architects, civil engineers, quantity surveyors and key specifiers
• Ideally have landscape architect contacts not essential
• Technical understanding of precast concrete design advantageous
• Experience of securing larger ‘big ticket’ projects
• Capable of both generating new business and managing / expanding existing accounts
• Hungry, Driven but also a “safe per of hands”
• Autonomous and poses a positive attitude
