Technical Sales Manager – Drainage & Water Management Products
Job Title: Technical Sales Manager – Drainage & Water Management Systems

Area to be covered: National (rarely travel outside of the North East & Yorkshire)
Remuneration: £50,000 – £60,000 + £20,000 – £30,000 bonus
Benefits: £500 car allowance & full benefits package
The role of the Technical Sales Manager – Drainage & Water Management Systems will involve:
• Technical sales position, selling a manufactured range of water management and building drainage products such as: inspection chambers, manholes, rainwater & flood management (SuDS) and silt management
• Majority of your time will be spent generating specifications with house builders, civil engineers, architects, public heath engineers and consultants for example: Persimmon, Barratt, David Wilson, SWP and Arup
• The remaining portion of your time will be spending selling to / pulling order through the contractors, distributors and merchant channels
• Looking to increase of a £3.5m sales team
• Conduct regular CPD seminars
• Regular upkeep of CRM system and understanding of value engineering
• Will be targeted on KPI’s not revenue
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Sales Manager – Drainage & Water Management Systems with:
• Must have experience working for our selling to house builders, civil engineers, architects, public heath engineers and consultants for example: Persimmon, Barratt, David Wilson, SWP and Arup
• Must have sold a technical building products such as: civils, building drainage, rainwater harvesting, water management, sewage systems or related
• Would consider someone from a engineer background
• Must be commercially astute
• Must be technically minded and understand building industry routines
• Hungry, dynamic and driven
