Technical Sales Manager – Windows & Door Hardware
Job Title: Technical Sales Manager – Window & Door Hardware
Industry Sector: Windows & Doors, Windows, Doors, Fenestration, Window & Door Hardware, Hardware, Architectural Hardware, Window Ventilation, Technical Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager
Area to be covered: South West & South Wales
Remuneration: £35,000 – £45,000 neg + 16% bonus
Benefits: Hybrid company car and full benefits package
The role of the Technical Sales Manager – Window & Door Hardware will involve:
• Field sales position selling a manufactured range of window & door hardware
• The majority of your time will be spent selling to window & door fabricators and manufacturers
• The remaining portion of your time will be spent managing & selling to independent distributors such as: Coastal & SD Hardware
• Inheriting a well-established area currently turning over circa £1.3m
• Circa 120 spending accounts and roughly 800 accounts to go at
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Sales Manager – Window & Door Hardware with:
• Must have field sales experience in the window, door, hardware OR fenestration sector
• Open on route to market
• Ideally sold into fabricator & manufacturers (not essential)
• Hybrid relationship builder and go-getter new business hunter
• Technically minded
• Commercially astute, strong negotiator
• Energetic and ambitious
