Based: Bexhill (must live within a commutable distance) after probation period can offer remote working
Working hours (8:30-17:00 mon-fri)
Remuneration: £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience) + benefits package
The role of the Technical Support Representative – Civils & Drainage Products will involve:
• Technical Support Representative position dealing with a high end manufactured range of surface drainage products / channels such as: concrete channels, slot channels, steel channels, point drainage, slot drainage, drainage channel systems, steel façade drainage systems
• Working in the groundworks & civil engineering market place
• Assisting with the product selection whilst providing technical and design support to the sales team
• Developing specifications, preparing technical drawings and reviewing documentations
• Dealing with and selling to customer base
• Preparing quotations and handling customers initial technical inquiries such as phone calls, emails and technical drawings
• Providing technical support in the preparation of presentations and of product comparisons for the sales team
• Updating the CRM system
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Support Representative – Civils & Drainage Products with:
• Must be technically astute and minded
• Ideally from a technical support or internal technical sales background
• Ideally civils & drainage however open
• Would be open in terms of what building products you’ve dealt with previously
• Must be able to read engineering drawings and to communicate technical information
• Ability to use AutoCAD design advantageous not essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate as required to use Microsoft Office
• Very good attention to detail
• Hungry, dynamic and driven
