Business Development Manager – Fire & Security

Job Title: Business Development Manager – Fire & Security Products / Services

Area to be covered: Bristol

Remuneration: £35,000-£45,000neg (depending on experience) +uncapped commission

Benefits: car allowance OR company car and full benefits

The role of Business Development Manager – Fire & Security Products / Services will involve:

• Field sales role selling the design, supply install and commissioning of our client range of fire & security products for example; CCTV, fire safety systems, fire suppression, access control, fire alarms
• Dealing with only commercial customer only (do not deal with residential customers)
• You will be the principle sales person working with three contract managers and office service team, looking to develop a new sales department, with the view expand and grow
• Selling directly to / generating specifications with electrical contractors, consultants, facilities management companies and end users
• Supporting throughout the design / specification process
• Will be required to quote and follow up on jobs
• Targeted to achieve £350k-£500k first year
• Working closely with Managing Director

The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager – Fire & Security Products / Services experience with:

• Must have proven sales / business development track record selling fire alarm systems or related products
• Must have sold to contractors, consultants and end users
• Ideally have design specification experience to BS5839 fire alarm standards and security systems with NACOSS approved codes of practise
• Ideally security sales experience however no essential
• You must have a history of achieving targets with a combination of large, medium and small contracts, as well as being able to generate new business sales from your own leads and have previous experience
• Applicants must be able to carry out surveys and quotations of security, CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems
