Remuneration: £45,000 Neg. + Bonus

The role of the Sales Manager –Doors & Window Hardware Aluminium Systems will involve:

• Field sales position, selling manufactured high end range of automatic door locks/ hardware (multi-point locking systems), and window hardware
• Selling into aluminium system houses within the UK & Ireland
• Targeting the residential and light commercial sectors
• 60% of your time account managing/ account developing existing customers and nurturing relatively new accounts with growth potential
• Working on bespoke customer project requirements/ providing new products etc.
• 40% prospecting for new accounts (target list of aluminium systems houses will be provided)
• Inheriting an existing ledger of circa £2m, you will be expected to grow revenue by circa £500,000 in your first year (same target for year 2 & 3)
• Presenting top quality written and oral business proposals
• Being our clients resident expert on all things aluminium
• Four days a week on the road visiting customers and one day working for home/ administration, and up to two nights per week away from home

The ideal applicant will be a Sales Manager –Doors & Window Hardware Aluminium Systems with:

• Field sales experience from within the fenestration industry
• Ideally from the aluminium fenestration sector
• Adaptable, intelligent field sales professional with technical bias
• Specific hardware, doors, locks knowledge may be advantageous
• Contacts within aluminium system houses not essential, as a full target list will be provided
• GAI qualification not essential
• Ideally sold to aluminium system houses or aluminium fabricators
• Must be a solution sales person, not someone that sells on price
• Autonomous in nature
• Comfortable with monthly reporting and diary planning
• Self motivated, communicative, relationship builder with strong negotiation skills
