Remuneration: £28,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)

The role of the Project Manager – Office Fit-Out, Mezzanines & Racking will involve:
• Working alongside the Head of Project Management to deliver all projects to an exceptional standard, within agreed timescales & budget, ensuring a positive relationship with the customer throughout
• Liaising with key internal stakeholders involved in pre-order phase to thoroughly determine project outlines
• Amending CAD drawings to reflect any post sale changes if able or working with design team to make changes if not
• Creating, submitting, and checking progress on building regulations applications, where applicable
• Review, confirm and create programmes in line with the project scope
• Identify and keep on top of any risks, ensuring these are documented
• Process orders of materials & equipment to ensure they are delivered to site on time and only there for required period
• Assessing lead times for contractors/fitting teams and assigning to appropriate projects.
• Ensure all preparations for starting on site are taken care of (RAMS, Code of Conduct, Signage/H&S equipment)
• Liaising and coordinating all contractors/fitting teams, conducting induction meetings on site
• Arrange regular project related meetings (both internal and client) to ensure expectations are being met on both sides throughout
• Ensuring projects remain clean, tidy, on budget, on time and adhere to H&S regulations at all times, through regular onsite visits and communications
• Your split between being in the office compared to on the road will be 40/60
• Will be managing a maximum of 4 projects at any one time, with values ranging from £25k to £250k

The ideal applicant will be a Project Manager – Office Fit-Out, Mezzanines & Racking with:
• Must have a minimum of 3 years project management experience within the construction industry
• Ideally will have experience within office fit-out, mezzanines or racking & shelving, however this isn’t essential
• Excellent project management skills
• Must have degree or relevant construction qualification
• Confident and articulate
• Good communication skills
• Strong organisation skills and high attention to detail
• Good numerical skills
• Technical understanding and can interpret drawings
• Wants to take charge and be in control
