Remuneration: £50,000 £55,000 - + Commission

The role of the Regional Sales Manager Flooring will involve:

• Field sales man management role, selling a full range of product portfolio / carpet tiles
• Man managing a team of 4 specification Business Area Managers
• Targeted to achieve a team target including an individual sales target
• Area currently achieving well against budget despite COVID
• Responsible for recruitment, training, development, mentoring and motivating the field sales team to achieve budget and grow revenue on the area (each specification sales manager’s area capable of huge growth)
• Assisting with managing specification project banks, CPD’s, KPI’s, framework agreements, as well as any outstanding personal relationships you may have with fit-out contractors, architects etc.
• Overseeing sales team who typically spend the majority of their time with a wide range of specifiers, contractors and end users.
• Targeting the commercial sector, as well as the education sector: schools, universities & colleges, Residential PRS, Student accommodation and a small amount of healthcare
• Ensuring ABI leads and in-house CRM database is fully utilised

The ideal applicant will be a Regional Sales Manager with:

• Proven track record of man managing a field sales team
• Must have (A&D) architect and interior designers specification field sales experience
• Flooring / carpet experience is desired but not essential
• Preferably sold interior building products such as flooring, carpet, wall coverings, fabric, ceilings, partitioning or furniture
• Proven leader, mentor and motivator of a field sales team
• Strong business and commercial acumen
• Energy, passion and Enthusiasm
• Contacts within flooring contractors, fit-out contractors is not essential
• Tactile sales background rather that technical, sold something aesthetically pleasing, ideally flooring related
• Strong commercial and presentation skills
