Area to be covered: North London, Northern Home Counties, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire

Remuneration: £34,000 - £36,000 Neg. + 15% Bonus

The role of the Technical Sales Merchandiser – Bathroom Brassware will involve:

• Field sales support role assisting three field sales professionals promoting our clients range of showering solutions, bathtubs, washbasins and kitchen brassware products
• 25% of your time calling on 40-50 plumbers merchants, assisting with staff training, technical issues, and display fits etc.
• 25% of your time working on events and utilising our clients’ two water wagons/ vans (used to demonstrate our clients range of showering solutions, demonstrate technical equipment to installers/ customers)
• 25% Installing in retail showrooms working water displays
• Remainder of time working from home/ admin and other meetings
• KPI’s will include gathering information from events, number of new displays fitted etc.

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Sales Merchandiser – Bathroom Brassware with:

• Plumbing industry background/ knowledge
• Technical ability/ hands on
• Comfortable customer facing/ managing events
• Open to “on the tools” experience or other hands on plumbing backgrounds
• Ideally with a good grasp of the retail brassware and showering trade
• Ability to use/ demonstrate products
• Ability to present to communicate with different types of customers from installers and trade counter staff through to high end designers and business owners
• Relationship builder and team player, comfortable working in a “buddy system”
• Able to effectively overcome technical queries
