2 areas to be covered between Birmingham, Cambridge, North London & Oxfordshire (your territory will be determined on your location)

Remuneration: £45,000neg + bonus & company car & full company benefits

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Doorsets / Ironmongery will involve:

• Area Sales Manager position promoting a high quality range of manufactured architectural ironmongery, doorsets, access controls, handrails, balustrades and associated products
• All of your time will be spent generating specifications or selling to architects, end users, main contractors and sub-contractors
• Both areas are well established with plenty of on-going projects to inherit
• Will be targeted to achieve £200k in the first 12 months
• Working on project sizes ranging from £5k-£75k+
• Working alongside a dedicated internal sales team, Branch Manager and Sales Manager

The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager – Doorsets / Ironmongery with:

• Must have sold doorsets or ironmongery
• Must have sold to contractors OR generated specification with architects and end users (will consider either or)
• Ideally looking for a DIP GAI qualification (not essential)
• Must have experience dealing with contractual issues
• Ideally have a demonstrable track record in generating specifications via end users and architects
• Able to ensure specifications are not broken by managing projects through the main / sub contractors and end users
• Able to sell on the basis of quality products and not on price
• Must be capable of working autonomously
• Credible, team player, relationship builder and self driven
