Remuneration: £40,000-£65,000 + 1% Commission on all sales

The role of the Sales Engineer – Under Floor Air Conditioning will involve:
• Field sales position, selling the design and supply of under floor air conditioning systems
• Responsible for gaining specifications from architects, designers, M&E consultants and housing developers
• Getting into projects at the earliest possible stage (before tender stage)
• Targeting both refurbishment and new build commercial projects
• New business role, targeting projects between 2,000m2 – 20,000m2
• No revenue targets in your first year, but it is expected that you will have 3-5 significant projects in your pipeline (project cycles can be up to 2-3 years)
• May get passed some projects in your first year that have progressed, that can be closed
• Following up on ABI leads as well as being provided with numerous inbound enquiries
• Vast majority of roles will be in London
• 80% office based (our clients UK office based near the Surrey/ West Sussex border) in order to fully utilise the design team, training and back office functions, 20% on the road visiting customers
The ideal applicant will be a Sales Engineer – Under Floor Air Conditioning with:
• Must have sold air conditioning/ air movement technology
• May consider other HVAC field sales backgrounds such as heat pumps
• Proven specification field sales experience with architects, consulting engineers, M&E Consultants/ contractors etc.
• Technically minded field sales person
• Ideally able to calculate heat loads of a building, understands acoustics, heights & ceiling restrictions, daylight factors, number of zonal downflow units required etc.
• Ideally looking for next step up in career

• High end person with engineering honesty
