The role of the Area Sales Manager Resin Flooring Systems will involve:

• Selling a manufactured range of resin flooring, providing technical advice to customers
• Approx. 80% of your time selling direct into resin flooring contractors/ installers
• 20% of your time will be spent with end users such as Facilities Managers and Architects
• Inheriting an area due to relocation, performing in line with budget expectation with a turnover of circa £300,000-£400,000
• Currently 75% of the projects are split between predominantly commercial and residential projects: retail, commercial office, hospitality, reception areas etc.
• 25% selling into commercial industrial sector; automotive, pharmaceutical, aerospace etc.
• Project sizes from £2,000 up to £100,000+
• Huge opportunity for growth within the industrial sector
• 50% new business development, 50% managing pipeline of projects (currently £300,000+)
• Lots of leads passed from resin flooring installers, architects and company’s CPD’s

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Resin Flooring Systems with:

• Must have a proven field sales track record within resin flooring
• Disciplined, willing to travel (large area)
• Comfortable building relationships with resin flooring contractors, contacts advantageous
• Technically astute, open to limited commercial experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Contacts within end users such as Facilities Managers or Architects is not essential
