Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 + 35% bonus of basic salary

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Floor / Wall & Roof Insulation will involve:
• Field sales position selling a high end range of manufactured specialist EPS insulation systems for walls, floors and roof applications such as: suspended floor insulation, cavity wall insulation
• Predominantly getting products specified via regional and national housebuilders dealing with technical managers and directors (20+ plots)
• A large portion of your time selling directly to end users and ground work contractors
• Managing relationships and back selling through independent merchants
• Working alongside other structural/concrete product manufacturers to sell the specialist insulation as part of a packaged system
• Taking over a territory turning over circa £5m
• Dealing with order values ranging from £1k - £100k
• The majority of your time will be spent managing existing relationships with the top 20 housebuilders who the business already work with throughout the UK but developing the regional relationships in this territory
• Work alongside the internal sales support and provide on-site support for larger projects
The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager – Floor / Wall & Roof Insulation with:
• Must have experience in specification sales ideally via national/regional housebuilders OR work for a merchant and deal specifically with ground work contractors
• Ideally have sold a heavyside building product or civils such as: bricks, blocks, readymix, insulation, concrete (however open as long as you have the route to market experience)
• Ideally have a demonstrable track record of selling to and opening up relationships with national housebuilders & regional housebbuilders
• Ideally some existing relationships with housebuilders within this territory
• Smart and presentable in appearance
• Able to sell on a technical basis
• Hungry, enthusiastic and passionate about the products
