Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + £10,000 Commission

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Bathrooms and Showers will involve:
• Field sales role promoting our clients range of high end traditional bathroom furniture and medium to high end shower enclosures, bath-screens and walk-in-panels
• 90% focussed on bathroom showrooms/ independent retailers, 10% plumbers merchants
• Inheriting circa 60-70 accounts (5-6 large, rest small/ in need of development)
• 50% new business development, 50% account management role
• Visiting customers every 6-8 weeks
• Responsible for an area achieving circa £1m, currently performing in line with budget
• Following up on distributor leads and also networking from your own contacts
• Area only available due to company growth plans
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Bathroom and Showers with:
• Must have proven track record in a field sales within the bathroom industry (may consider KBB associated field sales backgrounds)
• Must have sold into bathroom retail showrooms and/or regional & national plumbers merchants
• On the up in career
• Ideally with a good grasp of the bathroom brassware and showering trade
• Comfortable promoting mid to high end bathroom products
• Able to effectively overcome objections in a selling situation
