Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000neg

The role of the Technical Manager – Building Products will involve:
• Technical manager position dealing a high end range of manufactured building products such as: roofing, cavity closers, loft access, wall & floor ventilation, rainwater & drainage, and air leakage products
• Main lead for technical support within the company
• Reviewing building regulations ensuring that products meet the regulations
• Signing of new product lines put forward by the development team
• Dealing with inbound queries from contractors or architects and providing technical solutions/advise
• Technically support other internal functions (sales, marketing, operations)
• Stay up to date with current and future adjustments to legislation and building regulations and informing management
• Conduct technical training initiatives for supporting staff
• Producing technical documentation
• Undertake occasional site visits nationally where required
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Manager – Building Products with:
• Must have experience working with building regulations, ideally residential regulations
• Must have experience within a technical construction role
• Must have the ability to read and understand building regulations
• An understanding of building products, ideally pitched roofing / insulation / wall ventilation
• Ideally will be familiar with AutoCAD
• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbally
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Must be a driven and enthusiastic individual
