Remuneration: £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) + commission giving OTE of £80,000 - £90,000
Benefits: £300 car allowance + comprehensive benefits package
The role of the Business Development Manager – Design & Build Contractor will involve:
• Internally based Business Development Manager position promoting a high end design & build service in the residential building market from planning & design through to build and completion
• Focusing on new build multi units projects ideally circa 35 units, will have smaller element of refurbishment projects
• All of your time will be focused on selling to medium to large developers / property developers, housing agents and estate agents
• Targeting projects between £500k-£4m however will have scope a little either side
• 70% of your time will be spent generating new business relationship, 30% managing existing on-going projects
• Business project pipeline circa £17m looking to reach £25m by end of year
• Attending trade exhibitions and other marketing events aiming to gain new business
• Keeping client information up to date on internal system
• Generating and sending off quotations for clients
The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager – Design & Build Contractor with:
• Must have proven track record in a sales / business development position within the construction industry
• Ideally working with the design & build sector however will consider all construction / building sales background including service & product sales
• Must have desire, hunger and motivation to generate business
• Outgoing personality who will excel in a team
• IT Literate
• Must be able to communicate at all levels
