Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Bathroom Retail Showrooms

Area to be covered: South East (RG, SO, GU, PO, RH, BN, TN, ME, CT)
Remuneration: £45,000 + 20% Bonus
Benefits: company car VW Passat or equivalent OR £380 per month car allowance & full benefits package
The role of the Area Sales Manager – Independent Retail & Bathroom Showrooms will involve:
• Field sales position, promoting taps, showers and accessories for bathrooms and also kitchens
• All of your time selling into independent bathroom showrooms, independent retailers & builders merchants
• Will work alongside a dedicated specification sales professional however will have a small elements of influencing small housebuilders, developers, local authorities and architects
• Responsible for circa 90 spending accounts
• Good mix of account management and new business
• Implementing a 12 week journey plan which will see you visit customers in proportion to their value to the business
• Typically 4 days on the road visiting customers, 1 day a week working from home/ admin
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Independent Retail & Bathroom Showrooms with:
• Must have sold a KBB products
• Must have sold into independent retailers, bathroom showrooms and merchants
• Proven account management skills; excellent relationship builder etc.
• Ambitious, dynamic and hard working personality
• Knowledge of showers, bathrooms, brassware, tapware, sanitaryware is not essential
• Ability to build structured journey plan
• Autonomous, driven self starter, no leaflet droppers
