Remuneration: £45,000-£50,000 + up to 60% Bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager Bathrooms & Showers will involve:
• Field sales role selling a manufactured range of bathroom furniture, predominantly shower doors, shower walls (glass) and shower trays
• 50% Selling into independent retail showrooms
• 50% Selling into plumbing & heating showrooms, builders merchants and managing relationships with buying groups on behalf of key national merchants
• 40% Account management role, 60% new business development
• Responsible for circa 75 accounts on patch, 65% of the revenue comes from the top 10 customers
• Focus of this role will be to bring on a number low maintenance smaller customers (£10,000-£20,000 per annum) so that the area is not too reliant on the top 10 customers
• Inheriting an area currently performing above budget and with a revenue responsibility for this year of circa £3m (experienced 34% year on year growth)
• Promoting a brand leader with loads of product development
• Assisting with providing point of sale stands, catalogue’s, promotions, marketing of product & credit control etc
• Training and development of the independent retailer sales representatives
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Bathrooms & Showers with:
• Field sales experience within the bathroom industry, may also consider other KBB products
• Ideally some knowledge or shower doors, shower trays or showering accessories
• Ideally sold into independent retail accounts/ retail showrooms, plumbing & heating merchants or builders merchants
• May also consider a sales person who has worked for bathroom showrooms or plumbers merchants looking for their first field sales role
• Proven field sales record with accomplished territory management and planning skills
• Attitude of being happy to focus on pure sales role for next few years
• Ability to assist sales reps of independent retailers, plumbing & heating merchants and builders merchants in merchandising and maximising bathroom furniture potential
• Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, highly driven and flexible approach
