Remuneration: £55,000 - £65,000

The role of the Projects Manager – Roofing & Cladding will involve:
• Project manager position managing a range of roofing and cladding projects for new builds
• Establishing a relationship with the principle contractor for each project
• Monitoring all site activity; organising all site workers, collating risk assessments and carrying out health and safety checks, and conducting toolbox talks
• Organising the delivery of all materials that will be needed on site and ensuring they arrive on time
• Resolving any site issues and ensuring they are liaised with the projects team
• Liaising with clients and providing reports for the project
• Ensuring that works are completed to the drawings, specifications and to the highest standards
• Keeping all works moving smoothly and ensuring that project deadlines and budgets are adhered to
• Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation
• Electronically documenting all contract-related correspondence, identifying and recording progress and problems
• Managing 1 project at a time with values ranging from £1m to £3m with a 20-40 week time frame
The ideal applicant will be a Projects Manager – Roofing & Cladding with:
• Must have a proven track record in project/contracts management in the roofing or cladding market sectors
• Would consider an Assistant Project Manager with the relevant experience wanting to take the step up
• Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
• Ideally will have level 6 NVQ
• Must have CSCS card
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
• Confident and articulate
• Ability to plan and organise deliverables
