Area to be covered: North England (ideally based m62 corridor)
Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 + uncapped commission (£12,000+ first year)

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Roofing / Waterproofing Systems will involve:
• Technical field sales position, selling a manufactured range of waterproofing systems such as; single ply, bituminous waterproofing, liquid waterproofing, acoustic membranes, concrete repair, mortar waterproofing repairs, building drainage systems
• Working on both new build and refurbishment projects
• The majority of your time will be focused on selling to roofing contractors
• Approximately 15-20 spending roofing contractors accounts
• The remaining portion of your time will be spent generating specifications with architects and building surveyors
• Inheriting a territory currently turning over £700k looking to grow to £1m
• Good blend of account management and new business
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Roofing / Waterproofing Systems with:
• Must have a sold a technical related building envelope system such as: roofing, insulation, single ply, bituminous waterproofing, liquid waterproofing, acoustic membranes, concrete repair, mortar waterproofing repairs, building drainage systems, air tightness
• Ideally for a roofing manufacturer however open to a distribution background
• Open in terms of route to market either main contractors, specification or distribution
• Would consider a merchant background
• Must have a strong technical mind set i.e. capable of selling on a technical solution and product
• Excellent attributes to be successful in sales – excellent communication skills, personable and likeable character
