Location: Manchester or surrounding areas
Remuneration: £30,000 - £42,000

The role of the Sales Estimator – Building Energy Management Systems will involve:
• Sales Estimator position for the design, manufacture and installation of building energy management systems
• Working with M&E consultants/ electrical consultants and M&E contractors
• Reading specifications and producing technical solutions
• Producing quotations and following up to increase sales conversions
• Building and developing relationships with clients predominantly over telephone
• Attending occasional client meetings when required
• Project order values can vary from £10k-£300k+
• Projects would include: retail outlets, local authorities, office blocks, factories, schools, listed buildings, local health authorities, libraries, pharmaceutical and leisure centres
The ideal applicant will be a Sales Estimator – Building Energy Management Systems with:
• Ideally will have knowledge and experience with building management systems (BMS)
• Must have estimating experience, if not in BMS, would consider commercial M&E / HVAC market sectors
• Ideally will have dealt with Trend Technology
• Ideally will be familiar with reading specifications
• IEE electrical/electronic HNC / HND or equivalent would be advantageous not essential
• Must be confident and have excellent telephone manor
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
• Attention to detail and methodical organisational skills
