Area to be covered: North (ideally based M62 corridor)
Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience) + 15% bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Composite Decking will involve:
• Field sales position selling a new high end range of composite decking and associated products
• 60% of your time will be spent selling to independent builders and timber merchants such as: NBG, IBG, Fortis, Howden’s and MKM
• The remaining 40% of your time will be spent stimulating demand with decking contractors, landscape contractors, landscapers and installers
• Inheriting a territory turnover of circa £4m however more than capable of doing £5m-£6m
• Predominantly an account manager position however will be expected to do some new business prospecting
• Covering the whole of the North however focusing around the M62 corridor
The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager – Composite Decking with:
• Must have experience selling timber / landscape or related building products
• Must have worked for or sold to merchants OR landscape contractors / landscapers
• Ideally have relationships with merchants and landscape contractors such as: MBG, IBG, Fortis, Howden’s and MKM
• Ideally sold to decking and landscape contractors / installers
• Ideally have transferable contacts within the timber / builder merchants
• Well presented, determined, analytical with genuine integrity
• excellent presentation and communication skills
• Computer applications and to think creatively, analytically and commercially are also highly desirable
