Remuneration: £50,000-£60,000 + Up to 25% uncapped bonus

The role of the National Sales Manager - Tiling & Flooring will involve:
• Field sales man management role responsible for initially 7, but ultimately 10 specification field sales professionals nationally
• Focus of this role will be the building, coaching and development of a specification sales team
• 2-3 days a week on the road with your team
• Remainder of time designing and executing field sales strategy
• Inheriting a team with a current revenue responsibility of circa £10m
• Tasked with doubling revenue over the next 5 years
• Supporting the sales team in selling a manufactured range of decorative surfaces as well as tiling, flooring and screeding solutions, including: DPM, levelling compounds and adhesives via specification into architects for UK wide projects
• Targeting commercial projects such; transport, hotels, office blocks, hospitals, schools, leisure centres, motorcar showrooms, fast food restaurants, clothes designer showrooms etc.
• Taking up a vital role within our client’s senior management team
The ideal applicant will be a National Sales Manager - Tiling & Flooring with:
• Ideally a minimum 3-4 years man management of a field sales team
• Architectural specification field sales experience with architects and/or interior designers is essential (may consider no management experience if working for a competitor)
• Natural leader
• Excellent mentoring and people development skills
• Preferably sold associated building products to adhesives, sealants, compounds, screeds etc.
• Strong academic background preferred
• CPD experience
• Preferably from a technical building product background rather than an aesthetically pleasing/ decorative product
• Solid work history, preferably no job hoppers
• Contacts within architects and interior designers is not essential
