The role of the Business Development Executive – Heavy Plant/ Construction Equipment will involve:
• Business development executive role promoting the hire, sale and service of a range of heavy pant and crane attachments such as: concrete skips, wash skips, lifting equipment, forklifts and trench shoring
• Majority of your time will be spent dealing with sub-contractors, groundwork contractors, concrete frame contractors, civil engineering contractors and façade contractors
• The remaining portion of your time will be spent selling to main contractors, housebuilders and large plant hire retailers
• Capturing all company leads and adding to CRM system for BDM to contact
• Build and develop relationships with new customers
• Reactivate lapsed accounts
• Inputting all relevant information onto CRM system and keeping it up to date
• KPI driven role, not revenue based
• Targeted to achieve set number of new accounts, appointments for external team, and volume of calls warm
The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Representative – Crane Attachments / Lifting Equipment with:
• Must have experience within a sales role, ideally from the construction industry
• Ideally will have a book of contacts to bring to the company
• Ability to hit the ground running
• Previous experience or working with Glenigan or Barber ABI leads may be advantageous
• Must be energetic and hungry
• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
