Job Title: Estimator – Beads & Profiles

Location: Kidderminster or surrounding area
Remuneration: £28,000 – £32,000 + 10% Bonus
The role of the Estimator – Beads & Profiles will involve:
• Estimator position, producing estimates for a high quality manufactured range of beads & profile products for internal & external wall insulation systems
• Receiving enquiries and analysing plans, BOQs and other project information
• Analyse areas which can help reduce the cost and increase profits
• Liaising with the Senior Estimator and producing formal quotations
• Working with procurement to source material costs from suppliers
• Assisting with customer queries and providing technical solutions/advice
• Build and develop relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
• Inputting all relevant data onto internal database
• Pricing projects ranging in value from £500 - £500k
• 100% office based role
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Beads & Profiles with:
• Ideally will have estimating experience, however would consider other roles providing they are experienced in fabrication and can interpret technical drawings
• Must have experience in fabrication processes
• Must be able to interpret technical drawings
• Ideally will have excellent numerical and negotiation skills
• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office etc)
• High attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
• Genuine ‘get up and go’, determined and tenacious, make a good impression
