Remuneration: £35,000-£55,000 + 20%-40% commission

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Roofing & Cladding will involve:
• Field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of metal roofing sheets, ventilated wall cladding, building condensation control and composite wall and roof panels
• Selling into small to medium sized; agricultural frame builders and roofing and cladding contractors in the South West
• Predominantly a new business development role, however there will be some under performing customer accounts you will be charged with reviving
• Targeted to achieve circa £1m revenue
• Typical order values form £20,000-£200,000
• Research and cold calling initially
• Maintaining and growing relationships with roofing and cladding contractors to ensure repeat business
• Working with the contractors from initial enquiry, specification, and following it through until materials are supplied to construction site
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Roofing & Cladding with:
• Must have field sales experience within the agricultural, commercial OR industrial market sectors
• Must have sold roofing, cladding or associated building envelope systems
• Must have sold to roofing, cladding contractors or agricultural frame builders
• Knowledge of structural steel, purlins and cold rolled, single skin systems, composite flashings and fabrications may be advantageous
• Confident personality
