Remuneration: £40,000 + bonus giving OTE £50,000

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Doorsets & Joinery Products will involve:
• Office based sales position selling high quality manufactured range of doorsets and joinery products such as: architectural ironmongery, ironmongery, panels systems, wall paneling, performance doorsets, timber doors, fire doors, acoustic doors, internal & external doors
• Will go out onto the road to visit customers
• All of your time will be spent selling to main contractor, sub-contractors, developers, healthcare trust, local authorities pitching at senior levels
• Focusing on projects within the education, healthcare, commercial offices, high rise residential, social housing and leisure sectors
• Majority of your time will be focused on generating new business relationships however a sizable portion of your time will be focused on managing existing business
• Will be targeted to achieve £1.5m turnover once up and running
• Working closely with the Sales Director to achieve KPI and targets set
• Will be expected to work out of the North West office however will have a the autonomy / flexibility to work from home some days
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Door sets & Joinery Products experience with:
• Ideally have a proven track record in construction field sales selling via main contractors, sub-contractors and developers (sub-contractors relationship more advantageous)
• Would consider outside of the construction industry if you’re a great sales person with a proven track record in closing deals
• If your based near the office our client will be more open as there would be more training provided (you would be internally based if you fall into the criteria)
• Ideally have experience securing framework agreement with main contractors
• Ideally knowledge of doorsets, architectural ironmongery, ironmongery, hardware, joinery products, timber, timber doors, wall panelling, panel systems, acoustics, acoustic doors, door sets, window systems, locking systems and ironmongery (not essential)
