Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Bathrooms & Showers
Industry Sector: Bathroom Products, Showers, Shower Enclosures, Shower Trays, KBB, Interior Products, Lighting, Merchants, Showrooms, National Merchants, Independent Merchants, Buying Groups, Retail Showrooms, Bathroom Showrooms
Area to be covered: Scotland, Northumberland and Cumbria
Remuneration: £38,000 + up to £10,000 bonus
Benefits: New hybrid VW Passat + full benefits package
The role of the Area Sales Manager – Bathrooms & Showers will involve:
• Field sales role selling a mid – high end manufactured range of bathroom products such as: showers, shower trays, shower cubicles and wetrooms
• 55% of your time will be focused on selling to independent merchants, buying groups bathroom showrooms and bathroom retails such as: Fortis and UKPS
• The remaining 45% of your time will be spent selling to bigger national merchants such as: Travis Perkins (City Plumbing) and Wolseley
• Do like to get specified where possible
• Inheriting an established area currently turning over £7600k with huge growth potential
• Managing circa 100 account
• Majority of your time will be spent account management however you will be require to generate new business
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Bathrooms & Showers with:
• Ideally working in a merchant or showroom / retailers looking to step into field sales
• national / independent merchants, plumbers merchants, bathroom showrooms and bathroom / kitchen retailers
• Would consider someone working for a showroom, retailer / merchants i.e. showroom manager / bathroom designer
• Would consider a building product merchants sales rep
• Ideally have KBB or related product experience such as: showers, wetrooms, cubicles, sanitaryware, interio lighting, tiles, panelling systems, plumbing & heating products
• Would consider somebody in the up of their career looking to progress
• Must have able to promote a mid/high end product range
• Team player with a strong work ethic and integrity
• Positive and professional approach
