Area to be covered: South (will consider candidates Birmingham down)
Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience) + circa 20% bonus
Benefits: circa £300 car allowance however negotiable and comprehensive benefits package
The role of the Specification Sales Manager – Lifting & Fixing Systems will involve:
• Technical specification sales position promoting a high quality range of lifting and fixing systems used within a wide range of applications such as: brickwork facades, glass facades, stone facades, concrete frame, natural stone and precast concrete
• All of your time will be spent influencing and offering technical support to architects and structural / consulting engineers
• Working in a buddy system with 2 dedicated contractor sales professionals
• Will be targeted on specifications generated and KPI’s
• Dealing with order values ranging from £20k - £600k on multimillion pound projects normally North of £20m+
• A typical project would be a 30 storey high rise glass residential building
The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager – Lifting & Fixing Systems with:
• Would consider an engineer or consultant with no sales experience but in depth product / system knowledge
• Structural engineers, civil engineers and consulting engineers
• Must be able to understand engineering drawings
• Ideally direct product knowledge / experience fixings, anchoring systems, restraint systems, precast concrete systems, glass façade fixings, brickwork cladding, brickwork fixing systems
• Ideally have an civil or structural engineering degree or related qualifications
• Ideally have experience dealing with glass façade contractors, stone façade contractors, brickwork contractors and concrete frame contractors
• Ideally have site experience
• Genuine ‘get up and go’ work ethic
• Results orientated and outgoing
