Area to be covered: Midlands & North (your location will determined your territory for example if you’re based North you will cover predominantly North)
Remuneration: £38,000 - £42,000neg (depending one experience) + commission
Benefits: company car OR £580 car allowance + full benefits package
The role of the Sales Engineer – Formwork & Falsework (Infrastructure)will involve:
• Field sales engineer position selling the hire and sale of formwork, falsework and scaffolding systems on only infrastructure projects
• Infrastructure projects would include: public & public construction projects, bridges, aviation, rail, road etc
• All of your time will be spent selling to groundworkers, tier 1 contractors, sub-contractors, civil contractors , concrete frame contractors, rail contractors, concrete frame construction companies and other large civil companies
• Typical order value from between £20k to up £1m with the average being circa £50k
• Typically one day per week working from home doing admin, rest of time will primarily be spent visiting construction sites and offices
The ideal applicant will be a Sales Engineer – Formwork & Falsework (Infrastructure) experience with:
• Must have sold formwork, falsework, scaffolding systems or a technically assigned product
• Must have sold into the infrastructure sector
• Must have sold to main contractors, sub-contractors, groundworkers, civil engineering companies, concrete frame contractors / companies
• Must have the ability to pick up technical products
• Comfortable liaising on construction sites
• Must have the desire / hunger to thrive in a sales role with bags of enthusiasm
• Reliable, trustworthy and organised
• Money hungry, motivated and ambitious
