Based: London
Remuneration: £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on exp) + bonus & commission giving OTE £60,000
The role of Key Account Manager – Cycling Street Furniture & Structures will involve:
• Key account manager position promoting the design, manufacture and installation of cycling street furniture and parking solutions; canopies, bike shelters, bike pump stations, bike tacks & stands
• You will spend all your time dealing with and managing local authorities (overseeing 12 boroughs within London)
• Based out of the Sydenham office, you will spend 3 days in the office or visiting clients, with the remaining 2 days working remotely
• Working alongside 2 external & 1 internal sales people
• Required to visit site potentially once a week/a few times a month
• The local authorities account you look after make-up circa 60-70% of the company’s revenue
• Each contract traditionally lasts between 3–4 years
• KPI’s to be determined however will likely be based on client retention and satisfaction
• You will be required to juggle multiple responsibilities at once
The ideal applicant will be a Key Account Manager – Cycling Street Furniture & Structures with:
• Must have account management experience
• Must be commercially savvy and possess a good upsell
• Must be a good communicator
• Open on product sold, however advantageous if got experience with cycle furniture, street furniture or landscaping however not essential
• Must have a hunter mentality and genuine desire to earn money
• Experience of identifying new opportunities coupled with excellent account management capability
• Computer literate
