Remuneration: £60,000-£69,000 Basic Salary £100,000 OTE

The role of the European Export Sales Manager Flooring will involve:
• Field sales role, selling a manufactured range of carpets, LVT and floor coverings
• Typically one week per month UK based, 2-3 nights away three weeks per month
• Initially responsible for 24 European countries, Scandinavia will be given to a dedicated export manager in the future
• Managing typically one distributor per country (typically flooring distributors, some furniture distributors)
• Reverence responsibility of circa £8m
• Inheriting an area due to impending retirement, currently performing in line with budget expectation
• Predominantly an account management/ executive customer service role
• Implementing sales strategy, action plan and product pricing
• Lead product presentations and training
• Assist customers with technical solutions/ problem solving, product trials and general field support
The ideal applicant will be an Export Sales Manager Interior Building Products with:
• Proven European export field sales experience, preferably with some experience of having lived/ worked overseas
• Flooring industry background, may consider furniture industry
• Excellent account management/ relationship building skills
• Comfortable with high revenue responsibility element of role
• Autonomous, self motivated
• Pro-active nature
• Commercial and business acumen
• A good understanding of marketing techniques to develop the brand
• An ability to persuade and influence, and be assertive
• A flair for presenting a product combined with the ability to undertake training of customer staff
• Willing to travel abroad extensively
