Remuneration: £55,000-£65,000 + £10,000 Bonus

The role of the Project Sales Manager – Generator Sales will involve:

• Field sales position, promoting a distributed range of generators and associated services
• Utilising your own network of contacts and experience to identify, bid and secure new projects sales
• Selling into Site Foremen, Procurement Managers of large FM businesses, main contactors, design & build contractors etc. (procurement initially)
• New business development role which has come about through phenomenal company growth in recent years
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers
• Typical projects include hospital and data centre sites
• Identifying correct technical specifications and accurately issuing quotations
• Attending sales meetings at head office to ensure that all the team are fully up to date with all projects
• Targeted to achieve circa £250,000 gross margin year one
• Project sizes can vary from £100,000 up to £1m+
• Dealing with queries, creating and presenting project quotations (lots of support from technical engineering team)
• Occasional overnight stays may be required

The ideal applicant will be a Project Sales Manager – Generator Sales with:

• 5 years+ experience selling generators
• Ideally working for a competitor
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Well organised
• Proactive new business hunter
• Established network of industry contacts preferred
• Comfortable travelling to clients sites
• Technically competent
• Confident and charismatic
