Area to be covered: National – based South East

Remuneration: £50,000- £70,000 + £5,000-£15,000 Bonus

The role of the National Sales Manager – EWI & Waterproofing involve:

• Managing and developing all aspects of the sales and marketing operations
• Man management responsibility for a sales team of five, two office based and three field sales
• 60% of your time on the road selling looking after key accounts, 40% man management of sales team (small amount of time may be required for overseas conferences and export opportunities)
• Develop sales and marketing strategies in relation to resin bound/ resin bonded systems, EWI, ETICS, surface preparation products, waterproofing systems, DIY products etc.
• 70% project/ contractor sales, 20% OEM partnerships and 10% retail & distribution, this role will have a focus on growing the retail & distribution channel (targeting builders merchants, building material distributors, sheds etc.)
• Targeted to achieve £6m turnover, team currently running 20% above target expectation year to date
• Conduct product training, skills development and mentoring for sales & marketing team
• Potentially conducting a CPD presentation once per month
• Full P&L responsibility

The ideal applicant will be a National Sales Manager – EWI & Waterproofing experience with:

• Proven track record in a similar, must have some experience of man management of a field sales team
• Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies across multiple sales channels
• Must come from a related product background such as; flooring, surface preparation, coatings, EWI (external wall insulation), ETICS (external thermal insulation composite system), construction chemicals, waterproofing, dry mixes and other associated building materials
• Experience developing a builders merchant, building material distributor and DIY sales channel would be an added advantage
• Dynamic personality
• Strong leadership, organisational, communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to grow the business 20% year on year
