The role of the Business Development Manager Timber Frame will involve:
• Field sales role selling the design, manufacture and erection of timber frame systems
• New business development position
• Selling predominantly into regional housebuilders and private developers, but also architects and building contractors
• Raising the company profile in the South East timber frame market
• Assisting with the growth of a new factory which manufactures roof trusses, staircases, timber frames and other joinery products
• Covering South West London, Surrey, North & East Hampshire, Berkshire and Middlesex
• Typical project sizes from 10-200 units/ houses
• Targeted to achieve circa £4.5m (approx. £10,000 per house)
• Following up on Glenigan leads and your own contacts
The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager Timber Frame industry with:
• Proven field sales track record within the timber frame market
• Experience of having sold into the regional housebuilder/ private developer marketplace
• Highly motivated and pro-active
• Autonomous
• Ability to raise the profile of our clients brand and expand their customer base
• Excellent communication skills
• Hard working
• Confident and articulate
