Remuneration: £35,000-£40,000 + £15,000 Uncapped Commission

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Aluminium Systems to Fabricators will involve:
• Field sales position selling a range of extruded aluminium, (the range consists of aluminium windows, doors, façade and internal partitioning systems, as well as sectional garage doors, garage door automation and roller door components)
• 80% new business development position, 20% account management
• Responsible for circa £1.5m turnover and approx. 10-15 aluminium fabricators
• Tasked with achieving £1.5m of new business revenue and recruiting 2-3 additional aluminium fabricators per month
• Target list of customers will be provided and you will be supported, mentored and trained by the Sales Director
• Typical order value’s £10,000, and range from £3,000-£50,000
• 100% focussed on the residential market
• Sales cycles will vary from 3-9 months
• Daily and weekly report writing, call planning and diary management
• Liaise regularly with national sales manager and MD
• Efficiently manage time and plan work to ensure logical and cost-effective use of time
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Aluminium Systems to Fabricators with:
• Building products field sales experience with a new business development proven track record
• Ideally sold to aluminium fabricators, would also consider UPVC fabricators
• Also open to construction field sales backgrounds selling into builders merchants with a proven track record of opening up new accounts
• Product knowledge is not essential as full product training will be provided
• A basic technical understanding of aluminium systems or related products may be advantageous
• Excellent planning, organisation, time management skills
• Comfortable with features & benefits sales
• Technical, literate, excellent interpersonal skills, eye for detail and ambitious personality
