Remuneration: £60,000-£65,000 basic £100,000 OTE

The role of the Housing Associations Sales Manager – Contract Furniture will involve:

• Field sales role promoting furnishing and design solutions nationally
• Winning projects and frameworks for replenishment within housing associations and social housing market
• Focussing on housing associations, social housing, hostels and senior living accommodation
• 60-70% of your time managing a team of two housing field sales professionals
• 30-40% of your time selling
• Team revenue target
• Predominantly an account management field sales role as our client is known amongst the majority of housing associations
• Order values vary from;
 Replenishment - sofas/ chairs (circa £2,000)
 Packages - may require input from the design and project team (£15,000-£80,000)
 Projects - involve large refurbishments (over £200,000)
• National remit, although it is expected that the majority of your time with be spent in and around London or Manchester
• Loads of leads to follow up with from trade shows, conferences, LinkedIn etc.
• Fantastic support from design team for estimates, sales support team for your reports and the marketing team in respect of organising events

The ideal applicant will be a Housing Associations Sales Manager – Contract Furniture with:

• Must have 2 years+ field sales experience within housing associations/ social housing sector
• People management field sales experience (mentoring, training and coaching)
• Fire in the belly
• Knowledge or previous experience selling contract furniture is not essential
• Previous experience selling interior design led products such as furniture, fabrics, flooring, wall coverings etc. would be ideal
• Preferably with an understand of design and design schemes
• Driven, resilient self starter
• Trustworthy, able to work autonomously
• Contacts within housing associations will be useful
