The role of the Specification Sales Manager Glass Partitions will involve:

• Field sales product specialist position, working as the dedicated sales person nationally for our clients exclusively distributed range of horizontal sliding glass walls
• National field sales role but it is expected you will spend the majority of your time in London
• 80% of your time winning new build specifications with architects
• 20% winning short terms refurbishment projects with maintenance companies, FM businesses and main contractors
• Tasked with achieving £400,000 year one and £800,000-£1m year two
• Project cycles can range from 6-12 months
• Project values can be £25,000 for a leisure centre, but a minimum of £200,000 for a high rise residential tower block (can be £1m+)
• Typical projects to target include: high rise residential, airports, retail etc.
• Field sales role will involve lots of research; digging out information, following up on ABI leads and leads from main contractors etc.

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager Glass Partitions with:

• Must have sold an exterior building products through the architectural specification process
• Ideally sold glass or glazing associated products
• Construction field sales, rather than fit out field sales background
• Smart and professional in appearance
• Comfortable with big ticket project values
• An ability to absorb technical information
• Consultative field sales approach
• Ability to handle projects from inception right through to completion
