Remuneration: £35,000 – £38,000 + £8,000-£10,000 commission

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Blinds and Shutters will involve:
- Field sales position selling a manufactured range of components and fabrics for blinds and shutters
- Direct sell into small business end users historically
- All of your time will be spent selling direct to the trade via: shutter and blind manufacturers, installers, contractors, independent one man bands and sub-contractors as well as merchants and blind retailers
- Inheriting a well-established area only available due to an internal promotion
- Currently turning over circa £3m
- 95% account management role, circa 120-150 active spending customers on patch
- Typically three customers per day (some over teams), four days per week, one day working from home/ admin
- Majority of your work will be in the West Midlands
The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager – Blinds and Shutters with:
- Must have field sales experience selling direct to the trade
- Ideally experience selling into small business end users
- Preferably some experience selling into manufacturers, installers, contractors, independent one man bands and sub-contractors or well as merchants/ blind retailers
- Specific knowledge or blinds, shutters id not required
- Our client is very open on field sales product backgrounds
- Must be able to plan your own diary
- Account management capability/ relationships building skills
- Friendly team player with drive and enthusiasm
