Remuneration: £50,000-£60,000 basic + £75,000 OTE year one (top earners £120,000+)
Benefits: £600 car allowance OR fully electric / hybrid company or salary sacrifice + full benefits package
The role of the Area Sales Managers – Exterior Street Lighting Products will involve:
- Field sales position selling a manufactured range of exterior lighting products
- Lighting will be a mix of heritage and solar lighting initially
- Focus of the role will be to break specifications with; highways contractors, street lighting departments, local authorities, housebuilders and private developers and also facilities managers working on behalf of university campus’s etc.
- Circa 3 days a week on the road breaking specifications with contractors, 1-2 days with electrical wholesalers and other electrical distributors picking up projects to chase
- New business development role with an annual 1st year sales target of circa £650,000 (Year 3 target £1m+)
- Following up on Glenigan leads and leads from the office
- Typical project size for heritage is circa £45,000, solar £20,000
The ideal applicant will be Area Specification Managers – Exterior Street Lighting Products with:
- Must have electrical field sales experience
- Must have some experience of selling into; highways contractors, street lighting departments, local authorities, housebuilders, private developers or facilities managers working on behalf of university campus’s etc.
- Specific knowledge of exterior street lighting is not essential
- Open to most electrical products backgrounds; signals, communication systems etc.
- May also consider street furniture
- Self-starters, capable of being moulded from a technology stand point
- Personable, team player, people person, driven and enthusiastic
