The role of the Area Sales Manager Modular Rooflights will involve:
- Field sales role selling a manufactured range or modular glass rooflights including; roof lanterns, circular glass rooflights and modular glass link systems
- 50% of your time selling into builders merchants
- 50% selling into roofing contractors, window and door installers and other fenestration contractors
- New business development role (new team)
- £500,000 revenue target
- 7 customer appointment per day
- Transaction sale rather than project led
- Working in a UK field sales team of 5 nationally
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Modular Rooflights with:
- Construction/ building products field sales experience
- Must have sold into contractors and builders merchants
- Open to someone working in a builders merchants, who has dealt with contractors
- Knowledge of the fenestration industry
- New business hunter
- Comfortable with large area/ able to travfel with monthly overnight stays required
- Not afraid to cold call (face to face)
- Persuasive, patience and resilient
- Good IT skills
- A strong network of contacts within roofing contractors, window and door installers and other fenestration contractors may be advantageous
- Specific product knowledge or rooflights is not required.
