Area Sales Manager – Tools & Accessories
Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Steel, Tools & Accessories
Industry Sector: Tools, Power Tools, Cutting Tools, Steel, PPE, Hygiene, Welding, Paints, Electrical, Hardware, Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Fabricators, Engineers
Area to be covered: Blackburn to Lancaster (1hr of Morecombe)
Remuneration: £40,000 – £45,000 + bonus tbc
Benefits: Fully expensed hybrid / electric company car & benefits package
The role of the Area Sales Manager – Steel, Tools & Accessories will involve:
• Field sales based role, promoting a range of steel, power & cutting tools, fixings & fasteners, welding supplies, PPE, paints and consumables etc
• All of your time will be spent selling to fabricators, engineers and end users
• Turnover target will be set depending on experience
• Order values have range from £100-£20k+
• Will be given accounts to manage however also expect you to generate new business
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Steel, Tools & Accessories with:
• Must have field sales experience in the tools, PPE, hygiene, welding, paints or related sectors
• Must have sold to fabricators, engineers and end users
• Excellent communication, presentation and demonstrating skills
• A practical and professional hands on approach
