Job Title: Internal Sales Executive – Building Products

Construction Sector: Internal Sales Rep, Internal Sales Manager, Structural Waterproofing & Gas Protection Systems main contractors, brickwork contractors, framework contractors, structural engineers, design & build contractors, private developer house builders, groundworkers, civil engineering contractors and Infrastructure contractors

Based: Warrington

Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package

Remuneration: £25,000-£30,000 + £3,000-£5,000 bonus (discretionary)

The role of the Internal Sales Executive – Building Products will involve:

  • Internal sales position, selling a range of specialist building materials such as: waterproofing, gas membrane systems, groundwork engineering, formwork, sealants, concrete repairs, grouts, brickwork, insulation and ventilation products
  • Customer base will include main contractors, sub-contractors, framework contractors, civil engineers, structural engineers, design and build contractors, house build developers, groundworkers, civil engineering contractors and infrastructure contractors
  • Responsible for taking orders and following the process
  • Dealing with quotations and order processing, chasing & following up as appropriate
  • Majority of your time will be account management, with the remaining portion will be to generating new business relationship
  • Utilising lead generation software, as well as an existing customers to generate more sales
  • Will work closely with the external sales manager to setting up appointments etc.

The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Executive – Building Products with:

  • Must have 2+ years of construction sales experience
  • Ideally from a civils or heavyside background, would consider wider construction experience
  • Ideally have knowledge of main contractors or specialist sub-contractors such as, framework contractors and ground workers
  • A strong commercial acumen; understanding of negotiations, profit margins, sales process etc.
  • New business hunter, with passion and enthusiasm
  • Preferably on the up in career, looking for progression
  • Ability to work under own initiative, highly motivated, pro-active and organised approach
