Remuneration: £40,000 – £45,000neg + profit share bonus

The role of the R&D Chemist – Mortar, Screed & Cement Products will involve:
- R&D Chemist position, dealing with a high quality manufactured range of mortar, plaster and render
- Supporting in the development of both new and existing products and formulations
- Researching and testing new raw materials and building strong relationships with suppliers
- Generate Safety Data Sheets & Environmental Product Declarations using specialist software (training provided)
- Supporting in Quality Control (QC) testing when required
- Support in troubleshooting production issues
The ideal applicant will be R&D Chemist – Mortar, Screed & Cement Products with:
- Must have R&D experience and be familiar with producing formulations
- Must have experience dealing with related products such as; cement, mortar, screed, precast concrete, ready mix concrete, concrete admixtures, cement admixtures, chemicals admixtures, grouts and resins
- Familiar with ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 standards
- Ideally will be degree level educated in chemistry or related field
- Positive, energetic and confident individual
- Driven, organised and personable
