The role of the Senior Designer – Scaffolding will involve:
- Senior Designer position dealing with various scaffolding & temporary works for residential, commercial and industrial projects
- Lead glazing design from tender through to construction, ensuring compliance with requirements and UK standards.
- Review specifications to identify risks and opportunities early.
- Align design with budget and programme in coordination with commercial, estimating, and procurement teams.
- Act as the main technical contact, managing stakeholders and approving subcontractor designs.
- Ensure timely, high-quality design delivery while supporting testing, compliance, and buildability on site.
- Designing for a broad range of independent to national projects
The ideal applicant will be a Senior Designer – Scaffolding with:
- Must have extensive Design experience
- Must have experience or strong understanding of scaffolding or temporary works
- Ideally come from a background in the plant hire / access solutions sector
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High levels of attention to detail and organisation
- Familiar with working in a fast paced environment dealing with multiple projects at any one time
- Enthusiastic, team player, who works well individually also
